Hi,

Is there a plan for when the next relelase/version of the plugin will be released? Quite a few fixes seems to be implemented the latest compared to 2.5.2

Hi, sounds great. Vi are about to upgrade to 2.4 quite soon and we would like to continue to use your yum update plugin.

Seems to work fine on our 2.4.0p19 site, monitoring a Rocky Linux host. I needed to recreate our service rule but not a big issue. I'll try to test it on our 2.3 site as well.

@andersblomgren Good news! Were there any error messages or what triggered the recreation of the service rule?

Unfortenatly I didn't save the error message but it couldn't load/read the old rule so maybe some minor changes of the wato settings did this?

Yes there was a change to make it simpler, but I assumed the migration function to work 😀. Well... I'll try again.

@andersblomgren did you upgrade from an older YUM plugin?

Yes. Before we did the upgrade of the site från 2.3 to 2.4 we were using ssl plugin 2.5.2. When we did the uprade of checkmk this plugin got disabled.

When I added your new version it tried to use the old service rule for the ssl plugin.

I think I have to change back to include the 2 options deploy and interval - seems to be backward compatible and a widely used combo anyway.

@andersblomgren can you please check the latest testing release too? I got an error when upgrading from 2.5.2 to it, but it hat no effect later.

yum-0.0.1763752809.mkp seems to work good. No errors when upgrading from yum-0.0.3164676212.mkp.

Hi @andersblomgren - can you please check the latest from https://github.com/HenriWahl/checkmk-agent-plugin-yum/releases/tag/latest? I tried to get it as backward-compatible as possible - should not show errors now and does not make configuration more complicated anymore. Thanks!
