For me it was the PHAT lumon dependency that isn't shaked out from at least cron and node-schedule packages.
We use date-dns and that full lumon looks terrible.

The croner otherwise has not such deps and is relatively compact itself. Why not to add this in "Why another JavaScript cron implementation" part ?
