npm run deploy - not upload code into s3

Our dev. didn't done anything at infrastructure.

Normally when they develop then deploy code to env. They normally use npm run deploy
But, since Friday 18, It stop working with no error message.

After execute npm run deploy Their code wasn't upload to AWS S3.

Right now they use deploy manually method by uploading file into AWS S3.

Question:

1. Any workaround to resolve npm run deploy that not upload code to AWS S3?
2. What npm run deploy do? Does it only upload code to AWS S3?
