.Path when the page is backed by a file is deprecated and will be removed

I encountered the error shown in the title. After asking for help at discourse.gohugo.io (see here), I was offered a solution. But this required some manual editing of a few files within partials.

After looking at the Discussions here, I did not find a reference to the same issue (my apologies in case I missed it).
I hope this can be of help to further improve hugo academic.
