How to setup backlinks?

Hi all,

The backlinks feature is not working on my local website. I have downloaded the theme-academic-cv theme and edited one page to add a link to another one, but the backlink hasn't appeared.

Is it necessary to set up backlinks to work?

Have you tried adding HUGO_BLOX_DEBUG to the hugo command, e.g. HUGO_BLOX_DEBUG=true hugo server?
