Unit tests never fail #91
Description
When rewriting the project, I created a bunch of unit tests to ensure I wasn't doing anything wrong. These unit tests never failed, and so I ended up merging rewrite with a ton of broken changes that were later discovered in #90. The tests shouldn't have possibly been able to pass, yet they succeeded in both local and CD. Further research is necessary to figure out why this is happening and prevent it in the future.
