The Roman numeral glyphs on the Adobe-Japan1 are incorrect #676

Description

@yarakos95

The following two points are incorrect:

  1. Incorrect glyphs: CID+9883 is romanIIII, which is not enclosed in parentheses, but the IBM plex font does have parentheses.

  2. Glyphs are not in the correct order: In Adobe-Japan1, CID+9974--CID+10003 are Roman numerals enclosed in parentheses.

    • CID+9974--CID+9988: parenroman (lowercase)
    • CID+9989--CID+10003: parenroman (UPPERCASE)

    Lowercase Roman numerals from 1 to 15 are followed by uppercase Roman numerals from 1 to 15. However, the order of glyphs in the IBM plex font is random.

Version

  • IBMPlexSansJP-Regular: 1.004

The existence of a free font that fully complies with AJ1 is very much appreciated by everyone. I hope it will become a better font.
