PKIX Path Building Failed for all Network Services Metadata – Unable to find valid Certification path

Hello,

We are encountering an issue when trying to validate metadata for network services. Specifically, we receive the following error:

PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

This is an example of the service metadata we are trying to validate:

Could you please advise on the following?

• Is this issue indeed related to the Geoportal’s SSL/TLS configuration?
• If so, could you suggest steps or provide guidance that we can share with the team responsible for managing the Geoportal to help resolve the issue?

Dear @camilgg,
I can confirm that there is a problem with the SSL/TLS configuration of your Geoportal.
The validator is unable to connect to your services.
We will install your SSL certificate on the server.
In the meantime, I am unsure if your IT department can resolve the issue.
