Hello,
We are encountering an issue when trying to validate metadata for network services. Specifically, we receive the following error:
PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
This is an example of the service metadata we are trying to validate:
https://inspire.geohive.ie/geoportal/csw?SERVICE=CSW&REQUEST=GetRecordById&VERSION=2.0.2&ID=AWS_DHLGH_INSPIRE_WMS&outputSchema=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd
Could you please advise on the following?
- Is this issue indeed related to the Geoportal’s SSL/TLS configuration?
- If so, could you suggest steps or provide guidance that we can share with the team responsible for managing the Geoportal to help resolve the issue?
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
