Classes without a package

Can we move the classes that are without a package into a package?

i.e.VDMCheck it gives problems with downstream tooling and is not really recommend. jlink is not particular happy about it.

Im asking because Im updating some of the other tools to java 21

I guess so. I think the original idea was to make it the default package so that folks without a bash shell could invoke Java with minimum "fuss", though later I set the mainClass in the MANIFEST so you can just use -jar to run it.

Is this urgent?
