An automatically-opened new issue for the miscellaneous systems work for the next 2 week period. (the automated script for creating/deleting these issues via GitHub API and scripts is still somewhat experimental)

(I have an automated system of closing these issues and opening a new one every 2 weeks; but I put it on hold on account of the long break - so, keeping this one open for now, will restart the scheduled setup for the next sprint)

Restarting my automated setup for closing/opening these issues; meaning, this one will be closed shortly.
One time-consuming effort since the break was w/ prod. Globus setup. At some point the transfer tasks queue stopped moving. In the process another patch was created and deployed on app-2.

Otherwise, ongoing effort with setting up/fine-tuning quotas and limits for uploads.
