Downloading and Installing The IBEX Script Generator

  1. Visit https://github.com/ISISComputingGroup/ScriptGeneratorReleases/releases and from the latest release download the script_generator.zip file.
  2. Unzip the script generator to the location you would like.
  3. To launch the script generation open the folder you unzipped the script generator to and run the ibex-script-generator.exe
    • You may have to enter admin privileges to complete the installation correctly
  4. You may also want to create a shortcut and pin it to the taskbar. On instruments we should always do this to replace older versions of the script generator.
