A scripting language makes actual malware harder to detect, so false positives should be also reduced.

Also, even if the new installer script gets flagged, we'll have to un-flag it only once because it doesn't change across releases unless we change it.

EXEs, on the other hand, may change subtly. (Compiler version, stdlib, Boost, ...)
