[Bug] Sometimes, Waypoints/Landmark will be "loaded twice"

Problem Description (EX): When I have a folder "Course Number - Course Name" and a Landmark subfolder " Homework", then sometimes there will be 2x folders "Homework -> Homework 1, 2, ..." and then another (duplicate of the) subfolder "Homework -> Homework 1, 2, ...".

Notes:

1. This issue happens with some regularity, though not consistency. I have not recognized any pattern in its occurrence.
2. This issue happens with Waypoint-subfolders too.
