Are there plans to support dicom file creation/modification?

The README says that libdicom is meant for reading DICOM file information, including pixel data. Are there any plans to add the ability to modify and write DICOM file information as a .dcm file to disk? Or will libdicom be strictly for reading DICOM for the foreseeable future?

Hi @cincospenguinos, I think it's read-only for now. Maybe something for version 2.0.
