Github comments in pull requests

First of all - thanks for all the work! I am trying to gather some useful metrics for our team around our GitHub repository and so far looks great. I was able to build useful dashboard, however, I think there's something odd happening around comments. I think there are "two types" of comments - regular issue comments and pull request comments. The latter one seems not to be counted that's why some of my results look odd - even though pull request seem to have like 10 or 20 comments after collecting data it shows like 1 or 2. Would be nice to see if there's something that we can do about it and I guess sum these comments?

When you say your pull request has 10 or 20 comments, are those comments in threads or are they all standalone comments?

I'm wondering if the API returns a single "comment" for each top level comment. Also were those 10 or 20 comments within a 'review'? it looks like review threads may be counted separately.
