[Bug] issue related " Enable Advanced formats

Describe the bug
When I select vp9 and AV1 and not H.265 BUT when I play videos it still play H.265 and shows in quality menu.
I think videos should be played as user selection quality and if user selects more than one in advance formets then video should be played less data quality videos..

Go to " Enable Advanced formats" and select above quality and play a video it will play default quality even I don't select it

There are known issues with the "Enable Advanced formats" feature not always respecting user selections for video formats like vp9, AV1, and H.265. Similar problems have been reported, especially with AV1, where the app sometimes defaults to a different format or doesn't apply the user's preferences as expected. The maintainer has acknowledged that the configuration for advanced formats hasn't always worked correctly in previous versions, and recent updates have tried to address some of these issues by moving advanced format settings and defaulting to MP4 for compatibility reasons [source] [source].

However, without access to the actual source code or your specific error report, it's not possible to confirm exactly why H.265 is still being selected in your case. If you have any more details from the error report or specific playback scenarios, sharing those could help narrow down the cause.

No it shouldn't happen. Where do you find H.265? They are only used in BiliBili videos (shown as HEVC, I forgot to modify it)

AVC is H.264, which is not an advanced format since every device supports it.

O sorry it's H.264 and my question was if I select vp9 then why it plays H.264 by default ? Can you do one thing if you think it's good that if user don't do anything with advanced formats setting Then video play default quality and if user selects one or two options then video play less amount data video by default

Whenever I enabled all these "Advanced formats" black screen appeared on "Fire-Stick" and "MiTV 4K-Stick".

@geekytricky Your device doesn't support it. It happens very often on tablets and TVs.

Done in 4.5.0. Now we prefer advanced formats. (If enabled)

what have you changed ? It's still playing " AVC1 " as default Since I have enabled advanced formats
