  • I am able to reproduce the bug with the latest version given here: CLICK THIS LINK.
  • I have attached the error report in the issue.

Describe the bug
When I backed up the data, I didn't get any errors and the operation was a success. After I reset the app, I tried to import the backup, but it gave me a "Warning: Could not import all files" error. I tried downgrading, gave me the same error, until I checked the file and learned it has exactly 0 bytes (Pic). The backup saved absolutely nothing, so I lost everything from playlists to channels.

Curiously, after re-importing an old NewPipe backup, when I tried to export the current data -> reset the app -> import the data again, it worked this time! I guess if you are logged in through Youtube, the backup import won't work? That, or PipePipe corrupted the Backup when I tried to import it. :')

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Use the Youtube login
  2. Export the backup data
  3. Reset the app through Clear Storage
  4. Importing should give a Warning: Could not import all files

Device (e.g. Pixel 9 Pro)
Xiaomi Redmi 9

Error report
I checked the cache and whatnot, couldn't find an error log.

Additional context
Reason why I had to reset the app was because I logged in on an alt to test the Youtube login, but doing it so meant I couldn't switch to the main account with the 18+ already unlocked. So I thought in exporting a backup of the data and reset the app would do it. I've always used the Backup option, and it always worked. This is sincerely the one time it didn't work, and I don't know what caused it.
