Is it possible to customize the templates used for synced highlights?

I don’t see any any settings in the plugin for customizing the templates used for synced highlights. Is this possible?

Not currently. We started with the simple format based on the article metadata (frontmatter) and the blockquoted highlights (which allows for users to add their own text/notes in between).

Well, pretty much everything. The Readwise plugin lets you customize the frontmatter and the note format. At a bare minimum I would expect to be able to customize the frontmatter so that I can make it conform to the schema I use for my notes.

Another great example is the official Web Clipper, which lets you customize how you write out highlights, or dump the whole contents of a page into a note, it lets you set different properties from variables it extracts from the page.
