Is there a way to have custom authentication?

I have requirements to use our existing authentication service we have for our org and wondering if this is possible? From looking at the code I'm not seeing anything that would make this possible but wanted to ask. On the login screen, I'd like to be able to make a call to our auth service and then be able to get in to the app. As of now, it seems that there's only a static user/password that you specify in the setup. Is there something I'm missing?

Hi @pdenomme I've recently had my PR merged: #160 . Maybe this meets your expectations as well? In my case I used LDAP for authentication.

The code has slightly changed since my PR and now accepts 4 parameters, but you can easily work out how to use it as the key idea remains the same. In case of doubts just respond to this thread.
