KDE Plasma desktop blocked

Hello,

Seems there is a problem with Plasma lately.
If the plugin runs for about a day, Plasma desktop freezes and becomes unresponsive.
All the applets freeze too.
It doesn't happen with the plasma wallpaper slideshow, for example (I run > 6000 images with it).

Hello, I've upgrad to Plasma 6 and took from scratch the latest version from the KDE Store.
The issue persists. I've let it run for about 10 hours and I've found the following:

• about 20GB of RAM occupied by it
• Firefox blocked

• Copy here main system info from System Settings / About System
• Which process uses 20GB of RAM?
• Did you test the same setup without this plugin?

Hi, this happened every time, under Plasma 5 too.

1. Operating System: MocaccinoOS
   KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.5
   KDE Frameworks Version: 6.7.0
   Qt Version: 6.7.3
   Kernel Version: 6.6.60-mocaccino (64-bit)
   Graphics Platform: X11
   Processors: 16 × 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-11700K @ 3.60GHz
   Memory: 61.6 GiB of RAM
   Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/PCIe/SSE2
   Manufacturer: ASUS

MocaccinoOS is a built Gentoo.

2. Can't tell which process, Plasma tends to be unresponsive even to issue CTRL+ALT+#, but I'll try to find out.
3. Without the plugin running, there are no problems.

You can check RAM usage after 5 hours for example.
Do you use multiple virtual desktops or multiple monitors?

I don't, one desktop, one monitor. It's always been like this without problems.

I can't track the reason. No process shows the lost memory, so it means it may be a leak. This could be at any level, IMO. Possibly from some API used or Plasma implementation too.
