First just make sure you can enable autopilot in the standard c172x or c310 aircraft. These already have autopilot included, so start testing with these. You can enable autopilot controls in UE5 following this information: #973 Once you have those basic aircraft working, then you can try and get your custom autopilot to work. There is another discussion form someone who was also trying to add autopilot to the F15, for example. #444 And also here is a search of the discussions for "Autopilot" https://github.com/search?q=repo%3AJSBSim-Team%2Fjsbsim+autopilot&type=discussions |

The ap of f15 was written according to #444. Through the command console of UE, it seems that currently only airspeed_setpoint can be implemented, and other aps do not take effect. ap/attitude_hold ap/altitude_hold ap/heading_hold ap/altitude_setpoint ap/heading_setpoint ap/aileron_cmd ap/elevator_cmd ap/airspeed_setpoint ap/airspeed_hold ap/throttle-cmd-norm I'd like to ask, how should I modify the ap file in this situation? |

Recently, I have been researching the use of JSBSim to achieve automatic cruise of fighter jets through UE. I read some posts mainly about writing the corresponding aircraft autopilot.xml file, and then adding in the aircraft xml file.
, but I added the ap file under the aircraft file. It seems that it doesn't take effect when running UE. I would like to ask how to achieve the automatic cruise of the fighter jet, such as maintaining altitude, speed, aircraft attitude or flying according to the given target point. I am eager to receive your guidance. Thank you.
