As stated you can't use the plugin for creating a new database password. (That doesn't make sense.)
After you have created the database you can use the plugin to quick unlock it. As shown in your second screenshot you can unlock your database with "QuickUnlock" instead of your real password.

After creating the database, you can't set the quick unlock feature after adding the quick unlock entry.

You don't need to "set the quick unlock feature". Just create the "QuickUnlock" entry and lock your database. When you try to unlock the database, you can use the shorter quick unlock key to open the database.
