Cannot compile evio_cull_events

The file evioFileChannel.hxx has been removed from the EVIO repo. It used to be here

Is there a workaround? Can evio_cull_events be updated or is there a newer alternative?

We decided to remove the dependency on the evio package since version_6.5.0.xml, as it was not compatible with c++20.

For halld_recon, we use the parser in the DAQ library. It may be possible to update the utilities with this, but I am not aware of a newer alternative.

I think it shouldn't be too hard to update this program with the DAQ library parser.

The size of the verbose log files makes it worth the effort. They are well over 100GB, I have not run a full evio file with verbose>5 because I don't have the disk space. I had to delete halld_sim and every recon plugin that I am not using at the moment in order to make room.
