Description
Since we updated hddm to 5.1.2, the reconstruction test for all years after 2017 fails with this message:
20:15:57.231 [fatal] Exception in worker thread 7 while executing PhysicsEventMap2 on event #1083870
----------------------------------------------------------
JException
Type: std::runtime_error
Message: hddm_r::ostream::operator<< error - write error on event output!
Function: JEventProcessor::Process
Plugin: danarest
Backtrace:
0: void jana::components::JComponent::CallWithJExceptionWrapper<JEventProcessor::DoLegacyProcess(std::shared_ptr<JEvent const> const&)::{lambda()#3}>(std::__cxx11::basic_string<char, std::char_traits<char>, std::allocator<char> >, JEventProcessor::DoLegacyProcess(std::shared_ptr<JEvent const> const&)::{lambda()#3})
hd_root:4816e9
After this, it just gets stuck and times out. You can find an example log file here:
/work/halld2/data_monitoring/RunPeriod-2018-01/recon_tests/2026-03-10/log/041510/stdout.041510_000.out
It seems to happen only after roughly one million events, which makes debugging a bit annoying. I will try to reproduce the issue with the current default version set.
