Enable items to remain fixed in a position defined in the input file

Hello,

I am playing with this library and wanted to run some simulations starting from a case where there were already pieces positioned within the space that could not be moved.

Is there a parameter in the input file that allows me to do this?
Or a quick modification that would allow me to do so?

Hi,

From the perspective of the design of the algorithm, this feature request requires zero changes.
However, it does require quite a bit of effort to implement it in a clean way in the codebase.

I am currently quite busy but welcome contributions from the community and will assist where necessary!
