Unable to grab mouse pointer

Im using Pop_os and created a click script. Which is working. but after a while maybe after saved or executed and i want to add or exit the mouse click and choose the pointer to choose a new point to click it says Unable to gram mouse pointer. the program then minimizes and freezes. after i close it and open it again and load the script i still have the problem.

Are you on a X11 or Wayland session? Actiona doesn't work with Wayland.

i created a script that can click and it works. and im using wayland i think.

i might have figured it out. maybe a little workaround for my little problem.

i have a windows condition added to check if a windows exists and i run only that line. than i add the click command and i can use the pick location icon to choose the cords. but i have to do that each time i want to add a click command where i have to use the option to pick a location.

Please don't use Wayland, at best Actiona won't work at all, at worst it will crash. Wayland forbids any kind of automation.

a lot of other things are messed up here when i use X11 in normal uses sadly. which makes it unworkable for me in general.

I see. You could also try building the latest version if you can't find any workaround: https://wiki.actiona.tools/doku.php?id=en:compilation&s[]=build -- I can't guarantee this will fix all your issues, but I did fix a few problems recently.
