Visual Studio 2022 Support

Were there any plans to update this extension to support Visual Studio 2022, now that it has been released?

Oh, yes we must fix this. I'll have to find time to read up on what is required.

Been thinking about adding a button to recycle the VS process but that is better as a separate issue.

That's a great extension. It's very unfortunate for me that it's not available for VS2022.
