No livechat on remote streams since upgrade to Peertube 8.x

Describe the bug
Ever since upgrading to Peertube 8.x the livechat doesn't appear on remove livestreams anymore. It continues to work fine on local livestreams tough.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Install livechat plugin
2. subscribe to a remove livestream
3. open remote livestream
4. there is no livechat shown at all

Expected behavior
On Peertube 7.x it was working as expected including automatically logging into the chat with a local account.

Server (please complete the following information):

• OS version [e.g. Debian 10, ...]: Fedora server
• Peertube version: 8.0.1
• Peertube installation type [e.g. standard, docker, ...]: Official container
• peertube-plugin-livechat version: 14.0.2

Plugin diagnostic:

The diagnostic check returns that everything is OK.

Aditional info:

The "Don't display remote chats" option is not ticked and I tried setting that option and unsetting it again, but it didn't make a difference.

I have this issue as well. I have SRV records in DNS for the standard XMPP names and ports, and tried with both self-signed and Let's Encrypt TLS certificates.
