White space to int? conversion failure

I have an issue where a column in my csv that maps to a int? contains white space and is causing a type conversion failure.

CsvHelper.TypeConversion.TypeConverterException: 'The conversion cannot be performed.
    Text: ' '
    MemberType: System.Nullable`1[[System.Int32, System.Private.CoreLib, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7cec85d7bea7798e]]
    TypeConverter: 'CsvHelper.TypeConversion.NullableConverter'

How can I instruct the CsvHelper to convert whitespace to null?

You can trim whitespace around your fields. A field that is empty will come through as a null.

var config = new CsvConfiguration(CultureInfo.InvariantCulture)
