Is it possible to write to the devices?

As a general question:
Is it possible to write to the device? E.g. setting the time with a script would be much more convenient than fiddling with the buttons.

Never tried it, so sorry, can't give you the answer to your question.
As written in the Readme, I've found the source code on hackaday and was ported to python3. Reading the values was sufficient for me, e.g. to make a comparison with a cheap MH-Z19B sensor.
