Screen went black after flashing

Hi,
I'm not the most experienced person when it comes to esp32 projects.
This one sparked my interest and the instructions given looked sufficiently adequate for my level of knowledge.
Everything went fine, at the end of the flashing process the screen went black.
After plugging in a power bank the screen stays black and no wifi ssid shows up.
Did I miss something? Probably pressing buttons during power up?

Any thoughts are highly appreciated.

After flash, I usually have to press the boot button.

I forgot to set "USB Mode: CDC on Boot > Enabled". I'll give it another try.
