For the life of me I can't get a case to print that snaps together and stays that way. Does anyone have any recommendations on settings for success? I wouldn't even mind something that uses a couple of screws (like 2 or 2.5mm) I'm still a 3D printing n00b, but know my way around OrcaSlicer well enough to tweak pretty much anything. I've got PLA, PETG, and ASA so I can print with just aboot anything. Off-topic, but I'm surprised by the lack of cases "in the wild" for this little thing - it is really cool. Nearly every version I've found lacks an SD card slot. |

Howdy! I think the only cases out there so far are the few I have designed and the one mschmall did for the CPU cooler. I only recently added the SD card extender so that is why its not featured on any but the newest one. As far as printing goes I would recomend petg, I havent had issue using PLA, but the device gets very hot so it cant hurt to prep for that. As far as the fit goes I need to add actual tabs to the design, so far I allways need to take the thing apart so I didnt want to go too perminent. I would try undersizing the top part by a tiny amount, might give you better grip. or a light craft glue like elmers. Thanks for checking out the project! |

I'll give it another go. PLA is the best fit I've had so far, my attempts in PETG always seem to have the top too tight. I can get 3 corners on but never the last. |
