Downstream tests

Before fixing the StaticArrays issue #25, @devmotion suggested we run downstream tests with FD and RD (see #18). Opening this to keep track

Arguably they are already broken though, see #27. I think the PR I merged and then reverted would actually break them less. But I agree it needs testing
