Can not activate a project environment automatically after open the project folder

After opening the project folder, type julia in bash, ] shows (@v1.12) pkg>, only after typing activate . it activates the current project.
Why can not do it automatically when typing julia or alt + J then alt + O like in vscode?

Zed is not fully scriptable and I'm not sure if we could ship an out-of-the-box solution.

You could try to make a task that runs julia --project and create a key binding for it. Have a look at the Zed docs Key bindings and Tasks.
