Closing/ merging compat helper PRs

The list of open PRs contains quite a list of compat helper PRs. Is there anything to consider in order to merge them?

I think someone just needs to take the time to work through the list and get all of the upgrades done. My expectation is that the most painful thing is going to be Zygote-related updates (because Zygote is always a bit annoying).

The PRs where CI succeeds, can they be merged already? I see the issue for the PRs where CI is failing, and more changes are needed.

We'll need to check that they're running in on the correct version of whatever they're upgrading -- it's sometimes the case everything will pass because it's not actually running on the latest version of whichever package is being upgraded.

Makes sense. I will create a new branch, and try to merge all the compat increases into it. Once all are in, create a PR from that branch into main and bump the version.
