How do you want to do this? Some semantic/nested truncation where inner details are left out or just cutting off like jrfonseca/gprof2dot@cbce996 .

Semantic aware would be nice, but I suspect cutting it off is good enough.

I compiled graphviz with a custom value of YY_BUF_SIZE in scan.l and scan.c. I used actually the value that is commented out there, so I assume others ran into this too in C++. That might be a bit of brute force, but it worked in my case, and since Graphviz_jll should be an artifact soon #71 , that might resolve it in most cases.

I just ran into the same issue. I could at least display something using PProf.pprof(full_signatures = false).
