On Debian Trixie I followed the steps from the setting up page when I run it I get this error:

If you followed steps from setting-up page and did nothing else then ASF would not crash during trying to load incompatible plugin into its own namespace.

You either downloaded official plugin in incompatible version, e.g. monitoring plugin from ASF V6.3 that you're now trying to run in ASF V6.2, or you downloaded some other plugin that is incompatible with the version you're currently running.

If in doubt, purge whole ASF directory, unpack clean zip archive downloaded from release and try again.

I downloaded Monitoring plugin 6.3 together with ASF 6.3 on Debian Trixie. After deleting the plugin files it works

See, so you did not follow the wiki in regards to monitoring plugin:

Due to technical constraints, this plugin requires generic variant of ASF.

You've attempted to run it in OS-specific version of ASF, hence why it didn't work.
