It takes a long time to start a song and very often skips some songs from the playlist

Current Behavior

I used the Spotify plugin and it very often skips songs in the playlist even without shuffle and it takes a long time to load a song and then start it

Expected Behavior

It shouldn't skip songs unless I put it on shuffle and it shouldn't take that long to play a song

Try changing your yt backend in settings. Newpipe and yt-dlp have been failing in this way for me. Maybe because while Newpipe itself is actively being updated, Spotube hasn't been keeping up with their releases? Unsure.

Anyway, changing the backend to YoutubeExplode fixed functionality for me, it might help you too ^^

I'm also having the same issue.

Tried changing the engine to both YouTube explode and NewPipe but there is no difference. Sometimes it can even take half a minute for a song to load

is there any solution??? no one replys except other people with the same issue which is me. Also setting the type webm and quality to 42kpbs it helps
