Hi, huge fan of the engine, it is super easy to use and has a lot of nice opinions out of the box. I'm using it for my round 2 entry for the GDKO 2026 Game Jam. But I have a problem, that I try to solve via shaders. I've tried to get a cooldown effect like in the attached gif to work. I could create a lot of sprites with the correct amount of darkened overlay, but it would be much easier to solve this via a shader that just darkens the portion of the image that's proportional to the remaining cooldown. Is there something build into Parin for this? Or do I have to use the raylib backend direct for something like this? Thanks in advance! Edit: The GIF is super small, but I think it's possible to see what I mean. |
