Missing gene annotations

Hello,

I noticed some gene annotations are missing. In the example below, the variant highlighted has no annotation, but when I looked in IGV, there is the WASH7P gene there. And the variants is annotated with other databases like 1000 Genomes AF and it has a dbSNP rsID.

In a subset of 500,000 rows, 253,006 are missing a gene annotation.

I ran the tool with oc v2.17.0 and hg38 v1.47.2
Could my problem be because my hg38 annotations are not up-to-date? Or there is another module that could get this information?

Hi Mlabreck. Thanks for the report. Do you have the .err or .log file for this job? Should be in the same directory. There may be an entry in there for that variant. Could you share?
