I've just tested this tree with 17000 nodes in multiple levels and it's really, really fast. Not all features are ready yet but we are getting there.

I've just released rc-05. From now on, internal indexed is populated on idle browser thread and does not effect rendering. Those 17000 items could take up to 600ms to be inserted because of the index, now we are back to 15ms.

New changes are coming

• insertArray will return results of the insert
• searchNodes will go through index and return found items instead of filtering the nodes
• new property to allow different path separators instead of just dot

v4.0.0-rc08 is out. I've also added

• highlight for dragged over nodes
• fix of filterNodes that happened when there were nodes which parent nodes could not be found, so they were not added into the tree but the search index still had them registered
