I am currently running the game with Julius v1.8.0, and Traditional Chinese displays correctly in this version. |

This might have something to do with #1584 because it replaces the chinese font file. |

Do have your rome-v2.555 file somewhere from your original chinese installation. It isn't removed just another file is used instead. You should find it in the C3 base directory or in the .555 folder. Copy this file to assets/i18n/ and rename it to Simplified_Chinese.555 and replace the other file. That might work. It has been never tested before though. |

I made a mistake in my description obviously you have to call it and replace Traditional_Chinese.555 not the simplified one. |

Hello Augustus MOD development team,
After updating Caesar 3 Augustus MOD to version v4.0.0.1048-053d5c362,
I encountered an issue where all Traditional Chinese text is displayed as garbled characters.
Here is what I have tested so far:
When switching the language pack to English, the game displays text normally.
However, once I switch to the Traditional Chinese language pack, all text becomes unreadable (garbled).
I also tested an older version, v4.0.0.789 (unstable), and Traditional Chinese displays correctly in that version.
Based on these tests, the issue seems to have been introduced after version 4.0.0.789.
I would like to ask:
Is this a known issue with Traditional Chinese (font encoding / font rendering)?
Is there a workaround or fix planned for this problem?
If needed, I’m happy to help test or provide additional information.
Thank you very much for your work on Augustus MOD and for any assistance you can provide.
Best regards
