General Suggestions by a user

1. Suggestions regarding the main interface of the STTM Desktop Application:

1.1: The main interface should be customizable such that I can move and lock the docks window as per my wish. Including the ability to resize, snap, enable, disable etc. The term "docks" here means the search window, the preview window, the history window, side bar, quick toolbar etc.

1.2: The preview in the projector display or second display is not same as in the preview window on the main display. It does not accurately show the actual scaling of the text in the projector display which brings confusion and misunderstanding for the Sadh-Sangat and the operator.

1.3. I have not come into any issues during search of shabad, but in between it randomly stops & freezes when it loads the data from the database. Very common when I speed type the letters.

1.4: When my slide is on Waheguru and I am returning to the line from where I shows the Waheguru slide it shows a complete blank page on the second display. Changing the line fixes it.

1.5: For the lines window add some series of shortcut keys to easily navigate through them instead of the spacebar. Hotkeys for return to main line, next Antara etc. (Inspired from the Gurbani4All Application).

1.6: When the Waheguru slide is presented the font size for the Waheguru is fixed, do it so we can bypass the font size.

1.7: Able to search multiple lines at once. (Inspired from gurbani4all application)

1.8: The spacebar feature does not work even the option is enabled on the settings.

2. Suggestions regarding the settings for the main STTM Desktop Application:

2.1: I be able to change settings such as custom fonts files, font size, font color, background color, background opacity & capacity for every text such as Punjabi, Translation, Transliteration, Next Line Larivaars, Larivaar Assist, Show Vishraams and other text sources in the application.

2.1: For the akhand path view and auto play add a feature of scrolling same as in the Mobile Application.

2.2: For the slide Transitions, the new update disabled it but it still shows a blank slide for a split second and then shows the next line, instead it just shows the next line instantly as same as the behavior of bani overlay.

2.3: Able to customize quick tools and shortcut tray available options such as adding our own, removing one etc.

3. Suggestions related to themes:

3.1: There is already an option to add custom image which is cool but also add custom options for font as mentioned in 2.1 and an option for video with options like loop and much more.

4. Suggestions related to Sundar Gutka Sahib:

4.1: For the shortcuts, add it so we can create our own shortcuts, remove them and add custom background color to them, group them and rename the create group.

4.2: Add also recent banis selected from surdar gutka sahib.

5. Suggestions related to Ceremonies Feature:

5.1: I have never used it but add option to remove, create own custom ones just like 4.1 with font features like 2.1

6. Suggestions related to Announcements feature

6.1: for announcements I have used notepad application as I have never used this feature. So, for me I will suggest adding custom templates which I can use in future with other features like 5.1, 4.1 & 2.1

7. Suggestions related to Bani Controller:

7.1: I have never used the zoom overlay feature so no suggestions for it.

7.2: The QR Code should be for sangat sync and not for bani controller so I can present the QR code in the projector screen so Sangat can scan it and get synced with the gurbani without the need of the unique sync code.

7.3: For the bani controller the person should visit the site manually and enter the sync code and pin rather than the QR.

8. Suggestions for new features:

8.1 Add a feature such that we can make our own custom lines groups, for example i group 1 lines from different angs and group them together in a sequence such that i can use them afterwards. (Very useful during Basant raag, hukumnama sahib ji etc)

9. Suggestions related to Bani Overlay feature

9.1: Same as 2.1 for font customization.

9.2: Custom themes

Notes:

1. I highly recommend adding Hotkeys for every feature in the application with the ability to customize those hotkeys with a dedicated hotkeys window.
2. From now onwards when replying please do use the point number for the suggestion being implemented or response to it so I easy understand it & I also will use point number to update details about it.
