The project is currently using React Native 0.78, which is now unsupported.
The latest stable and supported version is React Native 0.82.

🎯 Goal

• Upgrade the codebase from React Native 0.78 → 0.82 to ensure:
• Long-term support and security
• Compatibility with latest Android & iOS tooling
• Better performance and stability
• Easier maintenance going forward

🛠️ Scope of Work

• Upgrade React Native core to 0.82
• Update related dependencies (Metro, Hermes, Gradle, CocoaPods, etc.)
• Fix breaking changes and deprecations
• Verify Android & iOS builds
• Regression testing on key flows
