I Thought Kilo Code Was a Game-Changer… What Happened?

I started a project with Cursor, and then came across an article praising Kilo Code, a VS Code extension. Intrigued, I jumped at the chance to try it out. To my surprise, I was genuinely impressed by how mature the tool felt and the quality of the code it generated.

But after a full day of work, things took a turn. Kilo Code started producing unexpected regressions. I tried everything: reviewed the settings, switched models (Claude 4, back to 3.7), uninstalled and reinstalled the extension… Nothing worked.

Honestly, I’m still trying to figure out what went wrong. If anyone has encountered something similar, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
