I'm guessing the kind of person that makes AI products is the same kind of person who has been spending the last decade reinventing everything in javascript, but has only vaguely heard of C# or Java.

As much as I'd love to have Kilo on IntelliJ, this sadly seems not realistic to me. I'm a vscode plugin author, and I do know plugin development is very different in those two.

If we do ever want to do this, we should look at Continue.dev's implementation, which indeed supports both VS Code and JetBrains. It'd require a big overhaul though, so likely won't happen soon.

Kilo is running in the RunVSAgent Plugin that @qdaxb worked on with caveats now

The big ones

• Kilo login wont work because the URL redirect just goes to VSCode
• None of the icons in the upper right switch to anything

But it architected a ToDo list for an app, elicited some queations and offered to switch and modify the project

here is my patch, you will still need to add kilocode as a submodule in the deps folder and the patch will touch the dom.ts file in the kilocode folder.
