So I let it grind on what should have been a minor bug fix while I went to an extended lunch.

As it turns out all of the GPT models suck at Go. Use Gemini for go and the go docs mcp along with sequentialthinking which really ought to be a mandatory default. I realize we have guard rails in place to prevent this sort of thing normally and it was my own stupid fault for allowing * in auto approve.

All I can say is thank god I had a recent commit to revert back to. I reverted and found the extra closing brace from the original minor bug fix.
