Improve @reference display to be more visible

The reference pill is not very clear. To be fair this may be theme dependent, however Cursor handles this much better for any theme I've thrown at it. It needs to feel more solid to get the impression that a proper stone cold chunk of code is truly being injected. This display feels "pathy" rather than "contenty" if that makes sense!
