Reuse keybindings under workbench.action.chat aka deliver us from the evil of submitting by enter

I came here to create a new discussion to allow "enter" for new newlines in chat; cmd-enter/ctrl-enter to submit.
There is already this: #2189

As an alternative, maybe it would be even more beneficial to allow for customization and reuse the already present keybindings for vs-code's native ai chat?

It just feels so unnatural to use enter for submit. Is the chat meant for smallish oneliners? Doubting this!

yes! please please please allow me to set enter as 'new-line' and something else like ctrl-enter as [send]

(@rmplbv maybe edit topic title to something like 'allow custom keybinding for enter under workbench.action.chat'. The current title seems a bit too generic (to me). I only found this issue via the linked one.)
