Kilo code in neovim would be really awesome

Hey Adrien, I agree, it would be totally great!

Sadly, I don't see it happening any time soon - Neovim has absolutely different extension system: typical extension would be written in Lua while Kilo Code is a VS Code extension written in Typescript :(

Hey HadesArchitect, I get that Neovim’s Lua-based system differs from VS Code’s TypeScript setup, which makes direct reuse tricky. But for language-specific features, Neovim’s built-in LSP client can connect to the same language servers as VS Code.
If Kilo Code is mostly about stuff like autocompletion or go-to definition, we might just need to configure Neovim to use its server, no heavy lifting required.

Is there anyway I would be able to help with this extension in Neovim? Here at work we did a POC and we are very excited about it however I'm not a vscode user so it would be nice to be able to have a extension for neovim aswel

Hey people. First, I really like this idea. Second, I don't see it happening (happy to be wrong).

So, we get requests like that all the time, recently answered one about JetBrains support (would be also awesome, right?) Take a look: supporting VSCode, NeoVim, JetBrains are technically three different projects. That means, we will literally have to implement every new feature three times. Then, we will have to maintain and debug things for three different platforms. That will delay us tremendously, while the community will be upset with slow pace and move to roo/cline/whtever-comes-next. In the end, investor will abandon the project and the show will be over. That sounds not good to me.

I strongly disagree on this one and I think the arguments aren't that strong either. But that is just my take. And you can also argue that without the extensions for NeoVim and JetBrains you are missing out on people who want to use it all.

But in the end its your call but I have to look to alternatives. GL with the project!
